Unauthorized Entry and Violence Reported on Kirkwood Drive

The Paragould Police Department has initiated a felony case following a violent residential intrusion that occurred on Saturday, March 14. According to court affidavits, Bradley L. Herren entered a home on Kirkwood Drive without the permission of the owner. Upon gaining entry, Herren allegedly began an unprovoked physical confrontation with three juveniles who were inside the residence at the time.

Specific Allegations of Physical Assault and Property Damage

Corporal Johnathon Porter reported that Herren utilized a belt as a weapon, swinging it at the minors during the encounter. When one juvenile attempted to intervene and stop the aggression, Herren reportedly pushed the victim into a recliner to bypass them. The suspect then allegedly kicked open a locked bedroom door to reach another minor, who was then pushed onto a bed and struck multiple times with the belt. Despite the physical nature of the attack, the victims informed responding officers that they did not sustain lasting physical injuries.

Terroristic Threatening and Corroborating Witness Evidence

Before departing the residence, Herren allegedly directed a death threat toward one of the juveniles, stating he was going to kill him. The mother of the victims, who was not present but was on a phone call with one of her children during the incident, provided police with corroborating information regarding what she heard over the line. Following the report, officers located Herren at his own residence and took him into custody without further incident.
