State Coordinator Tyoyer Gabriel,Ter noted that the military has committed to routine surveillance and active patrols during and after the orientation period. These measures are designed to preempt unforeseen circumstances and provide a secure environment at the Wamakko Orientation Camp, ensuring that the 1,685 newly sworn,in corps members can focus on their training without safety concerns.

Government Investment in Orientation Infrastructure

Governor Ahmed Aliyu has initiated a total renovation of the orientation camp facilities as part of a broader commitment to the scheme. Beyond structural upgrades, the state government is prioritizing the timely payment of monthly allowances and the provision of additional welfare packages for those deployed to the region. Gabriel,Ter specifically highlighted the importance of these improvements, while also advocating for the construction of a new multipurpose hall to accommodate the growing number of participants undergoing empowerment and vocational training during their stay.
