The alliance serves as a formal entry point for TNN members into the SDP following the group’s unsuccessful attempt to register as an independent political party with the Independent National Electoral Commission. Gombe explained that after extensive consultations, TNN leadership recognized that their core values of social justice and equality mirrored those of the SDP. By merging into the existing SDP structure, both groups intend to pursue a shared agenda focused on good governance and expanded economic opportunities.
