A second individual linked to the incident, 20-year-old Dante Wilson, was already being held by authorities on separate weapon possession charges. The incident dates back to the evening of December 20, 2025, at approximately 7:15 p.m. Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were dispatched to the 808 Apartments located on Skyline Ridge Drive in Madison to investigate reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered Aubrey Bellamy, 23, on the kitchen floor of an apartment. Bellamy had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Evidence of a Violent Confrontation

According to the official affidavit, witnesses informed investigators that Bellamy had been involved in a physical altercation with both Horton and Wilson prior to the discharge of the firearm.
