Fatal Crash Shuts Down Wairere Drive in Hamilton

A car and truck collision on Hamilton's Wairere Drive has left one person dead and three others hospitalised. Police have closed the road between Pukete and River Roads.

Incident Details

The crash occurred at approximately 2:30 pm on Monday, April 13. The collision took place on a stretch of Wairere Drive located between Pukete Road and River Road.

Fatalities: Police have confirmed that one person died at the scene.

Injuries: Three other individuals involved in the crash were transported to the hospital. Their current conditions have not yet been released.

Vehicles involved: A passenger car and a heavy truck.
