Board Response to Conduct Review
Speaking at the company’s annual meeting on Wednesday, NZME chair Steven Joyce acknowledged the gravity of the findings. He told shareholders that the review highlighted a need for management to better promote a culture where "employees and other persons are treated with respect and dignity."
The "disturbing" period for the company was punctuated by the conviction of former OneRoof CEO Greg J. Hornblow. Hornblow recently pleaded guilty to receiving commercial sexual services from a 14-year-old minor and subsequently lost his legal battle for name suppression.
OneRoof Performance and Future
Despite the leadership crisis, CEO Michael Boggs insisted that the property-market business, OneRoof, is "back on track."
New Leadership: A new executive team is in place to stabilize the brand.
