National developer Wood Partners has officially broken ground on its latest Texas project, Alta Timberline. Located in Tomball, an affluent submarket approximately 34 miles northwest of downtown Houston, the 204-unit development aims to capture the "piney woods" aesthetic characteristic of the region. The project is designed as a low-density, seven-building complex, each rising three stories. This move follows Wood Partners' long-standing strategy of expanding into high-growth Houston satellites, joining their existing portfolio in suburbs like Katy and Conroe.
