According to Metchie, Soludo’s victory across all 21 Local Government Areas, where he secured approximately 73% of the total votes cast, represents a historic affirmation of the administration's development blueprint by the citizens of Anambra.

Elevating Regional Logistics and Infrastructure

A primary focus of Metchie’s commendation was the administration's successful management of the Chinua Achebe International Cargo Airport located in Umueri. The President General noted that the strategic rebranding and functional strengthening of the facility have significantly elevated the state’s status as a commercial and logistics hub in the South-East. Furthermore, the construction of modern road networks linking the airport to major parts of the state has opened new economic opportunities for the Omambala region, transforming the facility into a globally competitive asset, according to the Umueri leader.
