The Strategic Vision for Global Expansion
NOVA Group, the parent entity of Ukraine’s premier express delivery service, Nova Poshta, has unveiled a roadmap to transform from a regional leader into a global top-tier postal power. Speaking at the NOVA Summit in Kyiv on Thursday, co-owner Viacheslav Klymov outlined an ambitious target to reach the world’s top 20 list of delivery companies by the year 2030. Currently ranked 30th globally, the group is positioning itself to compete with international logistical giants by leveraging its rapid technological integration and expanding infrastructure.
The Metric for Success: Quadrupling Parcel Volume
To break into the global elite, Klymov noted that the company must significantly scale its operations, specifically by quadrupling the total number of parcels handled annually. While the group currently processes over 500 million shipments per year, the five-year goal requires a massive increase in logistical throughput. This target is not merely about size but about the density of the network and the speed of the "last-mile" delivery, which has become the company's trademark in the Ukrainian market.
Maintaining Dominance in the Ukrainian Core
Despite its international aspirations, the Ukrainian market remains the foundational core of NOVA Group’s business strategy. Klymov confirmed that the company plans to sustain a 15% annual growth rate within Ukraine, even amidst the ongoing challenges of the wartime economy. By continuing to invest in domestic sorting centers and automated pick-up points, Nova Poshta aims to solidify its 70% market share while providing the essential logistical backbone for the nation’s e-commerce sector.
