Proactive Defensive Strategy Amidst High-Intensity Conflict
Nova Poshta has transitioned its operational model to treat wartime conditions as a standard business environment, prioritizing immediate investment in security over passive waiting. According to CEO Yevhen Tafiychuk, the company has faced a staggering 72,620 air raid alerts since the invasion began, resulting in the total destruction of 12 logistics hubs and 28 branches. To mitigate these risks, the operator has constructed a diverse array of 1,244 protective structures, ranging from reinforced concrete bunkers to specialized underground shelters, ensuring that both employees and customers have immediate access to safety during kinetic strikes.
Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Threat Detection
Central to the company’s survival strategy is a sophisticated 24/7 dispatch center that utilizes acoustic vibration sensors and an AI agent to monitor Ukrainian airspace. This system allows Nova Poshta to track the trajectory of incoming missiles and Shahed drones with high precision, providing tailored alerts through a network of 350 sound systems and over 170 encrypted digital channels. The AI agent further enhances safety by analyzing post-incident data to identify protocol lapses, ensuring that security measures are not only present but strictly followed across all 51,500 service points in the country.
Logistics in Motion as a Kinetic Shield
The company has adopted a unique "continuous movement" philosophy to protect parcels and personnel from being targeted. By designing logistics pathways where shipments are almost never stationary, Nova Poshta makes it significantly more difficult for hostile forces to strike high-value assets. If a facility is damaged, the company activates a "Plan B" involving the rapid deployment of mobile branches. These mobile units can be fully operational within eight days, supported by 16 backup locations in frontline areas and five strategic reserve depots in major cities like Kyiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv.
