Site History & Acquisition
The redevelopment of this key transit-adjacent site follows a period of financial distress for its previous owners.
Foreclosure: The site was previously owned by an affiliate of NVCommercial and slated for a mixed-use project before defaulting. Lender EagleBank took control of the property via foreclosure auction in late 2025.
Public Purchase: In January 2026, the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) purchased the land from EagleBank for $13.75 million.
Off-Market Deal: Developer LAC identified the site post-foreclosure and approached the lender directly to facilitate the county-partnered acquisition.
