Truck Driver Charged with Drug Offence Following Fatal Sunshine Coast Crash
A 56-year-old truck driver faces drug charges following a fatal multi-vehicle collision on the Sunshine Coast that claimed the life of three-year-old Ineza King.

Details of the Collision
The fatal incident took place at approximately 11:40 am on January 14 on Banya Avenue. According to police reports, the truck first rear-ended a silver Nissan Qashqai before continuing forward and slamming into a blue Haval station wagon. The force of the impact caused the Haval to strike two additional vehicles in front of it.
The Haval was carrying a 37-year-old mother and her two young daughters:
Ineza King (3): Sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to Queensland Children’s Hospital, where she later passed away.
Itahe King (1): Suffered serious injuries and was treated at Sunshine Coast University Hospital before being transferred to Brisbane for specialist care.
Mother (37): Sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
