Regional Enforcement Raid Shuts Down Unlicensed Gambling Hub

Law enforcement officials in Florida successfully dismantled a covert gambling operation this week after a targeted raid on a Tallahassee business. According to investigators from the Florida Gaming Control Commission, the North Tallahassee Arcade was functioning as a hub for illegal betting activities until a search warrant was executed on Thursday. The operation culminated in the immediate closure of the facility and the arrest of two individuals suspected of maintaining the prohibited gaming environment.

Suspects Taken Into Custody Following Multi-Agency Investigation

Auryona Jones, 22, and Brandon Riley, 24, were identified as the primary suspects during the bust and were subsequently transported to the Leon County Jail. Arrest documents indicate that both individuals were present at the arcade, located on North Monroe Street just north of Interstate-10, when the warrant was served. While Jones and Riley both face significant legal jeopardy, the charges against them reflect their alleged roles in managing the illicit operation and their presence during the commission of a felony.

Substantial Seizure of Hardware and Liquid Assets

The tactical search of the premises yielded a significant haul of illegal gaming equipment and substantial financial assets. Officers discovered and seized 29 slot machines that were allegedly being operated in violation of state gaming laws. In addition to the hardware, law enforcement recovered more than $17,000 in cash, which officials believe to be the proceeds of the unauthorized gambling activities taking place within the North Tallahassee Arcade.
