This performance represents a dramatic rise from the N43.39 billion generated during the same period in the previous year, highlighting a more aggressive approach to revenue recovery and trade monitoring. According to Chief Superintendent of Customs Abubakar A. Tsafe, the Command achieved N45.51 billion in January alone, followed by a robust N30.65 billion in February. The seized inventory included five pistols, a Crossman pump master rifle, and hundreds of live cartridges and empty shells uncovered during the examination of imported vehicles.
