A Coordinated Campaign of Commuter Thefts

According to investigators, the criminal activity was not a series of isolated incidents but rather a focused spree that occurred within a very narrow window of time. On February 18, the group allegedly executed a minimum of three separate cellphone snatchings in rapid succession. By operating along the D train line, the perpetrators were able to exploit the confined environment of the subway system, allowing them to seize high-value electronics and flee before victims could effectively alert transit authorities or interfere with their escape.

Demographics and Identification of the Suspect Group

The apprehension of 19-year-old Johnson and 18-year-old Flores follows the arrest of a 17-year-old male relative to the same pattern last week.
