The Conclusion of a Strategic Narcotics Investigation

Law enforcement officials in Snohomish County have announced the successful conclusion of a protracted undercover operation targeting regional drug distribution. The Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force, in a collaborative effort with the Everett Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team, executed a series of high-stakes search warrants that led to the arrest of a 63 year old Mountlake Terrace resident. This operation, which originally commenced in mid-2025, focused on disrupting the supply chain of synthetic opioids and stimulants moving through the local community. The arrest marks a significant milestone in a half-year effort to neutralize mid-level trafficking networks operating within the Interstate 5 corridor.

Coordinated Search Warrants Across County Lines

The tactical phase of the investigation involved the simultaneous processing of two distinct residential locations to prevent the destruction of evidence. Officers served the first warrant at a home in the 4500 block of 229th Place S.W. in Mountlake Terrace, while a second team moved on a residence in the 2700 block of N.E. 125th Street in Seattle. By targeting these two hubs, investigators were able to link the suspect to a broader distribution footprint that crossed the border between Snohomish and King Counties. The dual-location approach allowed detectives to secure a comprehensive look at the suspect's inventory and financial records associated with the alleged illicit trade.

A Substantial Recovery of Synthetic Opioids and Stimulants

The volume of contraband recovered during the raids highlights the scale of the alleged trafficking operation. Forensic teams processed approximately 923 grams of fentanyl powder, along with an additional 312 grams of fentanyl in pill form. The seizure also included more than 962 grams of methamphetamine, bringing the total weight of the primary narcotics to over four pounds. Additionally, officers discovered 1,326 grams of Suboxone strips, representing hundreds of individual units of the controlled substance. The variety and quantity of these drugs suggest a multi-product distribution model capable of reaching a diverse range of buyers throughout the Seattle metropolitan area.
