Opening and Closing Highlights
Miami Dade College’s flagship cinematic event kicks off on April 9 at the historic Olympia Theater with the screening of Tuner. Directed by Daniel Roher (Oscar winner for Navalny), this crime thriller stars Leo Woodall as a piano tuner whose superhuman hearing makes him an accidental master at safecracking.
The festival will conclude on April 19 with Power Ballad, directed by John Carney (Once, Sing Street). The musical comedy stars Paul Rudd as a wedding singer who finds himself in a copyright tug-of-war with a fading rock star, played by Nick Jonas.
