A Multidimensional Response to Community Needs
Residents of Noforija and its surrounding areas in Epe recently benefited from an extensive humanitarian intervention organized by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, or MFM. The outreach was designed to provide immediate relief to the less privileged through a combination of free medical consultations, food distribution, and clothing donations. According to organizers, the mission was open to all residents regardless of their age, ethnicity, or religious background. This effort comes at a time when many local households are struggling with the economic pressure of inflation and the increasing costs of essential services.
Clinical Interventions and Preventive Health Services
The medical component of the outreach, led by Dr. Victoria Olubukunola Ayeni, provided specialized screenings and treatments for a wide range of conditions. Health professionals administered Prostate Specific Antigen tests, blood sugar checks, and full blood count analyses for hundreds of community members. The medical team also provided targeted care for pregnant women and individuals suffering from chronic issues such as ulcers and hypertension. By offering these services at no cost, the ministry addressed significant health gaps for residents who might otherwise bypass treatment due to financial constraints.
Implementing the Explosive Evangelism Initiative
Pastor Moses Adebowale, the Mega Regional Overseer for MFM Lekki, stated that this outreach is a direct extension of the Explosive Evangelism Initiative established by General Overseer Dr. Daniel Olukoya. Speaking through Pastor Olufemi Odelabi, the ministry explained that spiritual growth must be accompanied by physical support through Corporate Social Responsibility. The leadership emphasized that MFM churches are instructed to touch lives through both biblical teachings and tangible social projects. This dual approach is intended to deliver both spiritual relief and physical transformation to the communities where the church operates.
