Seavey was apprehended by the Madison County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday evening, March 11. According to a citation filed in Madison County District Court, Seavey is facing severe charges related to the possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor. He is currently being held at the Madison County Detention Center as he awaits his initial judicial proceedings.

The investigation began when law enforcement identified an online social media account involved in the distribution of a video featuring a child approximately 10 to 12 years of age. Digital forensics and investigative leads allowed the Madison County Sheriff's Office to link the account directly to Seavey. This discovery provided the necessary probable cause for investigators to seek a search warrant for the suspect's Richmond apartment to secure physical evidence and electronic devices.

Confession and Execution of Search Warrant

Upon the execution of the search warrant on Wednesday, law enforcement officers made contact with Seavey at his residence.
