Police Response to Gas Station Complaint
The Glasgow Police Department responded to a distress call at the Speedway gas station on Wednesday, March 11. The call was initiated by a complaint regarding a woman who appeared to be unconscious inside a vehicle parked near the fuel pumps. Upon arrival, officers identified the individual as 46 year old Wendy Shavon Hawkins. According to the police report, Hawkins was found passed out in the driver’s seat of the vehicle while it was positioned at the pumps.
Discovery of Narcotics and Contraband
During the initial contact, responding officers reported a distinct odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A subsequent search of the car and Hawkins’ person allegedly revealed a significant quantity of illegal substances and related equipment. Authorities recovered:
