Strategic Expansion in the Lekki Corridor

The Lagos Free Trade Zone has reached a new milestone with the opening of Irele Tower, a nine-storey mixed-use development designed to support Nigeria's growing industrial and logistics hub. Providing approximately 12,000 square metres of office and retail space, the tower is strategically positioned to serve local and international firms that require close proximity to Lekki Port and its surrounding infrastructure. The launch comes as the Lekki axis continues to attract major capital, positioning itself as the primary gateway for Nigerian trade and investment.

Commitment to EDGE-Certified Sustainability

A defining feature of Irele Tower is its focus on resource efficiency and environmental responsibility. The building has earned EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Engineered for high performance, the tower is designed to use 26% less energy and 46% less water than conventional office buildings. These sustainable features are intended to lower long-term operating costs for tenants while significantly reducing the building's overall environmental footprint.

Integrated Business Environment

Adesuwa Ladoja, Managing Director of Lagos Free Zone Company, emphasized that the tower is a key component of the zone's strategy to provide an integrated business ecosystem. By combining world-class infrastructure with prime location and logistics support, the tower meets the increasing demand for high-quality, efficient workspaces. Ladoja noted that as investor interest in the Lekki corridor surges, providing "green" infrastructure has become a competitive necessity for attracting global brands.
