Late-Night Armed Robbery on Fulton Street The NYPD is investigating an armed robbery that took place on the night of February 10 inside a smoke shop located at 2945 Fulton Street. According to investigators, a man entered the premises around 11:35 p.m., produced a firearm, and demanded cash from the register. A 25-year-old employee complied with the demands, handing over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

Escape Route and Suspect Description Witnesses and surveillance footage indicate that after exiting the shop, the suspect ran toward the end of the block and entered the Fulton Avenue–Cleveland Street subway station. The employee was not physically harmed during the encounter. Police have released surveillance images of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a black-and-white hooded jacket, a black face mask, black gloves, and black sneakers.

Enhanced Security Measures In a Tuesday morning interview with News 12, the employee involved in the robbery confirmed he was the one behind the counter during the incident. He revealed that the business has since taken drastic steps to prevent future crimes. The shop now features a buzz-in door system to control entry and has installed bulletproof glass at the service counter to provide a physical barrier between staff and customers.

Public Assistance Requested The investigation remains active, and authorities are calling on the public to help identify the individual in the surveillance photos. Crime Stoppers is offering a confidential channel for tips, and anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to contact the NYPD.
