According to Mohammed, the upcoming National Executive Committee meeting is scheduled to address the costs of nomination forms and other essential fiscal matters to ensure the party is battle ready for the next election cycle.

A critical point of contention remains the role of Nyesom Wike, who currently serves in the cabinet of an opposing administration. Party leadership has sought to draw a clear line between the personal political choices of the Minister and the official direction of the National Working Committee. Officials noted that while the Minister provides stabilizing guidance and wisdom, his duties as an appointee of President Tinubu do not dictate the party’s independent actions.
