A Decade of Targeted Procurement Revealed

Newly released Department of Justice files have exposed a prolific and predatory correspondence between Jeffrey Epstein and Ramsey Elkholy, a former model agent who now identifies as an anthropologist and musician. Spanning from 2009 until shortly before Epstein’s death in 2019, the hundreds of emails document a transactional relationship centered on providing the financier with access to young women, some as young as 18. According to the records, Elkholy acted as a conduit, utilizing his professional position in the modeling industry to facilitate meetings and explicitly encouraging Epstein to sexually exploit specific models under his representation.

The Pretext of Professional Opportunity

The correspondence suggests that Elkholy leveraged high-profile industry contacts, including Victoria’s Secret and the Vera Wang label, to lure women into Epstein’s orbit. In one particularly graphic exchange from 2011, Elkholy described a woman in her 20s as being "desperate for cash" before pleading with Epstein to "just try her in bed." These messages indicate that the professional advancement of the models was often used as a secondary consideration to Epstein’s sexual interests. According to the BBC investigation, Elkholy admitted to the language used but claimed he was unaware of the broader scope of Epstein’s documented systemic abuse.
