Ending the Debate on Vaping Effectiveness For years, the public health impact of electronic cigarettes has been described as "mixed," but a major new study from the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford suggests the data is actually quite clear. By pooling results from 14 systematic reviews published between 2014 and 2023, researchers found that nicotine e-cigarettes consistently outperformed other common cessation methods.

Lead author Dr. Angela Difeng Wu stated that the evidence is "clear and consistent across all of the meta-analyses," and hopes this comprehensive overview will lay to rest claims that the effectiveness of vapes is still up for debate.
