Strategic Entry into the European Union
TK-Domashniy Tekstyl has officially inaugurated its presence in Slovakia, marking a new milestone in the company’s aggressive international expansion strategy. On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the company announced the successful shipment of its first batch of in-house technical fabrics to Mandi Fashion, a well-established Slovak clothing manufacturer. The delivery consisted of 11,200 meters of high-quality fabric, produced entirely at the company’s finishing factory in Chernihiv. This partnership not only diversifies the company’s client base but also strengthens the economic ties between the Ukrainian textile sector and the broader EU manufacturing market.
Chernihiv Production Hub Proves Resilient
The fabrics shipped to Slovakia were produced at TK-DT Chernihiv, one of the few remaining factories in Ukraine capable of full-cycle cotton fabric finishing. Despite the regional security challenges in northern Ukraine, the facility has maintained its production capacity, currently employing over 80 people and outputting up to 500,000 running meters of fabric monthly. The technical fabrics provided to Mandi Fashion are certified under the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ensuring they meet strict European safety and environmental regulations for textile dyes and chemicals.
Diversifying Global Export Geography
The entry into Slovakia follows a successful pattern of European integration for TK-Domashniy Tekstyl. By the end of 2025, the company had already secured contracts with Swedish importers, adding to an established export list that includes:
