Strategic Cooperation in the Gulf

The diplomatic push comes as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy tours the Gulf region to shore up support. Sybiha highlighted that advanced discussions are underway with the UAE and Qatar, nations that have also faced threats from Iranian-aligned drone and missile strikes.

Shared Experience: Gulf countries have utilized over 800 Patriot missiles since the start of the conflict. They are reportedly eager to learn from Ukraine's frontline experience in intercepting Russian-operated Iranian drones.

Mutual Accords: Draft agreements focus on "unmanned technologies" and intelligence sharing regarding the assistance Russia provides to Iran, including spare parts and combat data.

Broader Engagement: Ukraine has also engaged in discussions with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Oman to ensure global attention remains on the Ukrainian case amidst the escalating Israeli-U.S. conflict with Iran.
