Seamless Multimodal Integration

The core of the Uber Air experience is its integration into the existing Uber app. Users entering a destination will see "Uber Air" as a premium option alongside traditional ground transit like UberX or Uber Black. When selected, the app automatically coordinates a "multimodal" trip:

Segment 1: An Uber Black car picks up the rider and transports them to the nearest "vertiport."

Segment 2: A pilot-flown, four-passenger Joby aircraft performs a vertical takeoff.

Segment 3: Upon landing at a destination pad, a second Uber vehicle completes the final leg of the journey.
