The 2025 Delta State Primary School Mathematics Competition concluded with Etagbedavwe Amwarha, a pupil of Transcorp Power School, being named the overall state champion. The competition was a grueling multi-tier process that began with 172 students competing simultaneously at the local government level. Following the initial round, 41 high-performing pupils from the Delta Central Senatorial District progressed to the second stage, where they faced advanced problem-solving assessments. The final stage, held in the state capital of Asaba, saw Amwarha compete against seven other finalists, ultimately demonstrating the superior mathematical aptitude required to claim the first-place title.
