According to official reports, the victims were part of the state’s delegation traveling to Abuja for the high-profile political gathering. The incident occurred during their journey when their vehicle made a temporary stop along the roadside. While attempting to cross the road, the officials were struck by a fast-moving vehicle, resulting in immediate fatalities. Identification of the Deceased Local Leaders

The victims have been identified as grassroots leaders deeply involved in the administration of Ngaski Local Government Area. Among the deceased are Hadiza Sabo Warrah, the Councillor representing Warrah Ward, and Sahabi Alheri, the Councillor representing Birnin Yauri Ward.
