Analysts suggest that if Iran exits the deal, the region could see a return to the "Epic Fury" phase of the war, potentially involving renewed Iranian ballistic missile strikes on Israeli infrastructure and a secondary closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Pakistan’s Role as the Embattled Mediator

Field Marshal Asim Munir has emerged as a central figure in the attempt to preserve the truce. During the call with Araghchi, Munir emphasized the "constructive and responsible" role Pakistan is playing to prevent a total regional conflagration. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed on Wednesday that the ceasefire was intended to apply globally across all fronts of the "Axis of Resistance."
