Village-by-Village Evening Vibe
Each of the five villages offers a slightly different after-dark personality, largely influenced by its geography and accessibility.
Monterosso al Mare: As the largest village and the only one with a proper beach, Monterosso has the most active "nightlife." You’ll find beachfront bars and pubs that stay open later than in the other villages, particularly in the "New Town" area (Fegina).
Vernazza: Home to one of the most beautiful natural harbors, Vernazza is the prime spot for a sunset drink. The bars lining the piazza by the water are perfect for watching the fishing boats come in.
Riomaggiore: Known for its steep main street and dramatic rocky marina, Riomaggiore offers several "vertical" wine bars where you can grab a drink and sit directly on the harbor rocks to watch the stars.
Manarola: This village is arguably the most romantic. The evening highlight here is a walk along the Via dell'Amore (when open) or a visit to the famous Nessun Dorma, known for its breathtaking terrace views of the pastel houses.
