To bolster the Silver Ferns' technical depth, NNZ has appointed highly regarded Australian coach Briony Akle as Taurua’s assistant for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in July. This cross-Tasman collaboration is seen as a strategic move to provide fresh perspectives to a program that has been in flux. Additionally, Chelsea Lane—whose background includes executive roles in the NBA—has been integrated as the head of performance.
