The Victim: A specialist Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedic, identified as "Sam," was on shift and reportedly getting a coffee when he was approached from behind.
The Assault: The assailant allegedly exited a small red car and stabbed the paramedic twice in the face and neck.
Bystander Intervention: A courageous bystander stepped in to intervene, helping to pull the attacker away before the suspect fled the scene in the red vehicle.
