The "Blackmail" Proposal
Zelenskiy cited "irrefutable" evidence from Ukrainian military intelligence suggesting that Russia is actively providing critical data to Iran during the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war with the Islamic Republic. The Ukrainian President characterized the Russian offer as a direct attempt to isolate Kyiv.
The Russian Offer: Moscow allegedly suggested it would stop passing military data to Iran if, and only if, the U.S. stopped providing Ukraine with the real-time intelligence necessary to counter Russian advances.
Russian Components in Iran: Zelenskiy further claimed that reports show Iranian drones currently targeting U.S. and allied assets in the Middle East contain components manufactured in Russia.
While Moscow has denied assisting Iran in the current conflict, Washington recently confirmed it had received these denials directly from Russian officials during high-level discussions.
