The Esports World Cup Foundation has officially announced the return of Fortnite to its multi title roster for the 2026 season. Taking place from August 19 to August 22, the Fortnite Reload Elite Series Championship will serve as the pinnacle of a months long qualifying circuit. A total of 40 duos will descend upon Riyadh to compete for a share of a $1,000,000 prize pool, marking a significant investment in the game’s fast paced Reload mode.

Complex Qualification and Tournament Structure

The path to the Riyadh finals is paved through four distinct online qualifying windows running from January to June 2026. These qualifiers utilize a multi stage format designed to filter for the most consistent and skilled pairings across the globe:

Regional Slots: The final 40 teams are drawn from seven major competitive regions. Europe (EU) leads with 12 slots, followed by North America Central (NAC) with 8. The remaining positions are filled by top performing duos from Asia, the Middle East, Brazil, Oceania, and North America West.

On-site Format: Once in Riyadh, the 40 duos will be divided into two groups of 20 for initial group play. The top seven duos from each group will advance directly to the Match Point Finals.
