Series A funding and corporate expansion
Reclaim Security has announced the successful completion of a 20 million dollar Series A funding round, bringing its total capital raised to 26 million dollars. The round was led by Acrew Capital, with participation from Ibex Investors and QP Ventures. Founded in 2024 by a team of veteran entrepreneurs including CEO Barak Klinghofer and Chief Product Officer Roy Peretz, the company currently employs 30 people. While the majority of the staff is based in Israel, the firm has maintained operational continuity despite regional instability by transitioning to remote work and leveraging previous experience with managing business during conflict.
Automating the transition from detection to fix
The core of Reclaim’s technology is an automated vulnerability remediation platform designed to move beyond the simple identification of security weaknesses. Traditional cybersecurity tools often provide an overwhelming volume of alerts without offering a path to resolution. Reclaim’s system analyzes how an organization operates and provides specific guidance on necessary fixes. By combining artificial intelligence with tailored simulations, the platform enables security teams to prioritize actions based on their actual business impact and potential harm.
Addressing the speed of modern cyber threats
The urgency for automated remediation is driven by a stark disparity in reaction times between attackers and defenders. While the average time for an attacker to breach a system has decreased to approximately 27 seconds, organizations still require an average of 27 days to patch critical vulnerabilities. CEO Barak Klinghofer notes that the release of advanced AI tools like Claude Code allows attackers to identify and exploit hundreds of vulnerabilities in seconds. Reclaim aims to close this gap by providing an autonomous engine that can implement fixes at a scale that manual review cannot match.
