Police Probe Rooftop Burglary in Carbondale; $10,000 Reward Offered

The Carbondale Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspects involved in a recent business burglary. Officers were dispatched to a business located in the 600 block of East Walnut Street at approximately 2:36 p.m. on March 3 to investigate the theft.
During the investigation, police determined that parts from several air conditioning units located on the roof of the building had been stolen. The theft took place on Saturday, February 28. Following a review of surveillance video from the surrounding area, investigators identified a person of interest who was seen in the vicinity on the morning the burglary occurred.
In an effort to expedite the case, the business owner has announced a $10,000 reward specifically for information that leads to the successful arrest and conviction of those responsible.
