However, Pink explained that Willow recently sat her down for a "business meeting" to discuss her future. "She told me, 'Mama, I love you, but I want to do my own thing,'" Pink recounted with a mix of pride and sadness. The mother-of-two noted that Willow has already begun intensive vocal and dance training specifically tailored for the Broadway stage, moving away from the rock-and-roll lifestyle of a stadium tour.

Pink emphasized that Willow’s interest in Broadway isn't about fame, but about the craft. "She’s a theater kid through and through," Pink told Clarkson. "She wants the 10-out-of-12s, the rehearsals, the community. She’s obsessed with Wicked and Hadestown." Unlike the freestyle nature of a pop concert, Willow reportedly thrives under the structure of musical theater. Pink joked that while she is "technically her daughter's first employer," she is more than happy to be "fired" if it means Willow is chasing her own happiness.

The decision has the full backing of the entire Hart family, including father Carey Hart and younger brother Jameson. Carey Hart recently shared a tribute on social media, praising Willow’s work ethic and her ability to command a stage. The transition marks a new chapter for the family, who have spent the better part of the last decade traveling the world together. Pink noted that while the tour bus will be "a lot quieter" without Willow’s Broadway cast recordings playing on loop, she is excited to sit in the audience and be a "theater mom."
