The Philadelphia Police Department has launched an investigation into the disappearance of 13 year old Lamont Freeman. According to investigative reports, Freeman was last seen by his mother at their family residence located on the 4200 block of West Girard Avenue. The sighting occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Since that time, the youth has not returned home, and his current whereabouts remain unknown to both his family and local authorities.

Physical Description and Attire at Time of Disappearance

Lamont Freeman is described by law enforcement as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. On the afternoon he went missing, he was dressed in a specific set of clothing, including a red hooded sweatshirt over a navy blue school golf shirt and black "Dickies" brand pants. He was also observed carrying a grey backpack. The department has released these details to help citizens and school officials in the 16th District identify the missing teenager.

Southwest Detective Division Leads Investigation

The Southwest Detective Division is coordinating the search efforts and is currently pursuing various leads.
