Why the Change?

According to a statement from Mars New Zealand, the shift is a result of sourcing changes and a recipe overhaul.

New Ingredients: The updated recipe now includes malt extract from barley.

Cross-Contamination: The company has also added warnings regarding the potential presence of wheat due to shared manufacturing processes.

Scope of Change: This allergen advice is being rolled out across M&M'S Milk Chocolate and Mini products (excluding mini tubes) as of April 20, 2026.
