The scale of the shortage is most visible at the town's primary 24-hour garages, which serve as the backbone for regional transport. Out of the six major stations that typically operate around the clock, only a third currently have fuel available for the public. The remaining four facilities have reported being completely dry of either diesel or petrol while they await deliveries that have faced repeated delays.
