The leadership of the City Boy Movement in Osun State has formalized its commitment to mobilizing extensive support for All Progressives Congress candidates ahead of upcoming electoral cycles. During a strategic gathering at the Ileri Oluwa campaign office in Osogbo, the group outlined its objective to secure a strong mandate for the party in both the August 2026 governorship election and the 2027 presidential race. This initiative represents a proactive effort to align regional political interests with the national agenda of the current administration.
Grassroots Outreach Program Addresses Local Economic Hardship
As part of its strategic engagement, the Movement distributed fasting relief packages to more than 2,000 households, an effort sponsored by Seyi Tinubu. Engr. Kayode Sowade, the state director, characterized the movement as a critical frontier designed to connect the masses and undecided voters with the political class. By combining political advocacy with direct social welfare, the group seeks to demonstrate the tangible benefits of the federal government's policies to the residents of Osun State.
