Violent Heist at De Ultimate Hotel Detailed
The initial robbery occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at De Ultimate Hotel located on Sokoto Road in the Atan-Ota region of the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area. Armed robbers reportedly stormed the premises at approximately 1:30 a.m., targeting both guests and hotel staff. Two Car Dealers Apprehended in Connection to Gang
Police spokesperson DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed on Saturday that two individuals, identified as car dealers, have been taken into custody. Investigators believe the suspects may be linked to the wider criminal network responsible for disposing of stolen vehicles. While the two dealers are currently assisting the police with their inquiries, the command has indicated that the arrests are part of a broader effort to dismantle the specific gang responsible for the Atan-Ota hotel raid.
