According to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff, the projectiles were detected at approximately 6:10 am local time, originating from the Sinpho area, a location frequently associated with the North's naval and missile development programs. This event represents a continuation of Pyongyang's accelerated testing schedule, coming only eleven days after its previous multi-missile launch on April 8.

The missiles reportedly traveled a distance of roughly 140 kilometers (87 miles) before splashing down.
