According to her account, the vehicle she was operating suffered a critical mechanical failure when a bolt detached from one of the tires, causing the car to vibrate violently and emit alarming noises. The situation was particularly distressing as Odusanya was traveling only with her young daughter, leading to a moment of significant emotional distress for the pair as they found themselves vulnerable on the side of the busy highway.

The crisis took a positive turn when three men, whom the actress affectionately referred to as "daddies," noticed her vehicle in distress. Upon reaching her, they discovered the actress and her brother, who had arrived to assist but was struggling with the severity of the malfunction.
