In response, the Director of Naval Information, Navy Capt. Abiodun Folorunsho, confirmed that personnel from NNS SOROH were immediately dispatched to the scene. The team successfully pulled seven survivors from the water, preventing further loss of life in the immediate aftermath of the crash.

Medical Evacuation and Ongoing Search Efforts

Following the initial rescue, the seven victims were evacuated to a nearby medical facility to receive urgent treatment for injuries sustained during the impact.
