According to Mrs. Ifeyinwa Omowole, the Managing Editor and Head of Lagos Operations, the primary objective is to move away from reactive healthcare by encouraging early detection and management of common ailments before they lead to serious medical crises.

Partnership With Lagos University Teaching Hospital

The outreach was conducted in close collaboration with medical experts from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, situated in Idi Araba. This partnership allowed NAN staffers to access professional screenings for blood pressure and sugar levels, providing a snapshot of their cardiovascular and metabolic health. By bringing specialized medical personnel directly to the workplace, the agency reduced the barriers typically associated with regular health monitoring.
