An "Indescribable Hell" in Valencia
The blog entries painted a vivid, if not dramatic, picture of the singer's experience in Spain. After traveling by road for two days from Milan, Morrissey reportedly arrived at his Valencia hotel late Wednesday night. However, he claimed any hope of rest was destroyed by "festival noise," "loud techno singing," and "megaphone announcements." One post described the hotel as an "indescribable hell," with the singer asserting it would take him "one year to recover," calling that estimate an "understatement."
A String of 2026 Cancellations
This latest incident follows a series of nixed performances in the early months of 2026:
January 3, Rancho Mirage, CA: Postponed due to an "adverse reaction to a prescription medication."
January (San Diego, CA): Canceled at the San Diego Civic Theatre.
