Leadership Exodus and Allegations

The SIA has faced a tumultuous period marked by the high-profile departures of its top executives:

Andrew Coster: The former Chief Executive resigned in December 2025 following a critical Independent Police Conduct Authority (IPCA) report regarding his previous tenure as Police Commissioner.

Kylie Reiri: The Deputy Chief Executive resigned in February 2026 while under investigation for allegations of bullying and harassment.

While the procurement review is ongoing, an Official Information Act (OIA) request revealed that at least one email identified in the investigation relates to "alleged financial and procurement matters." Reiri, through her legal counsel, has denied any knowledge of irregularities and maintains that any such allegations are false.
